Trained as a milliner, and with a background in graphic design and dramatic performance, she obsesses over designs to levels of perfection. She pushes the boundaries of hats through new technologies and innovative materials. From her dramatic roots, she believes hats aren’t stand-alone items, but that they partner with the wearer and release the character within.

STUDIO ANISS was established in 2012 following a series of exclusive millinery awards, and a grass roots motorbike trip around the Philippines in search of the essence of millinery.
We met the most friendly people, bonded together on the trip, and found some of the finest weaving traditions anywhere on earth.
STUDIO ANISS is the result of that bond. A passion for hats, a passion for making traditions, and a passion for beauty and self-expression. We believe that hats and headwear should form a bigger part in all of our lives.
